(randb.about.com) On his official debut solo album, The MANual, singer Quinnes "Q." Parker seems determined to prove that he can carry a full album by himself and without the aid of the other three members of the group he shot to fame with in the '90s, 112. And for the most part, he succeeds. On The MANual, Q. shows that he has a full, rich voice that doesn't need three other vocalists to help carry the weight of a full album. That said, although his voice is a little more distinctive than the average vocalist, this is a release that does little to distinguish itself from all the other contemporary R&B/Soul releases out there now that revolve around love, sex and relationships.
